As a lifelong classic car enthusiast/collector/restorer I cannot recall the last time that I ran across a classic car that impresses me the way that this T-Bird does. It is an absolutetreat to just get in and drive. From the moment you close the door and turn the key it is evident that this Bird was someone's pride and joy. This is a true one owner rust-free California "Black-Plate" classic. Original plates go with it!It spent its entire life in California until 2006 when the original owners moved to Maryland to be closer to family. Of course they brought their prized T-Bird with them. From 68' to 06' this beauty was driven only 85000 miles. After the move to Maryland from 06' to 15' it was driven just another 4800 miles on only the best days. When the gentleman could no longer pass an eye test he and his wife decided to part with their T-Bird. It was consigned to a family friend who owns a Chevrolet dealership in New York. I acquired it from him at a classic car show. And I am now offering to the next lucky owner to enjoy!

the "New for 1968" 360 Hp. 429 Thunderjet V-8 this bird has a tight powerful purr and is super smooth and responsive. You have to drive this car to appreciate its "like new' feel! I would not hesitate to drive this car any distance with complete confidence.

The body is straight and rust and filler free. Panel alignment is excellent. Doors hood and trunk open and close smooth and solid. The car has had one very nice driver quality+re-paint in its correct Harvest Goldmetallicbase/clear-coat.There are only a very few minor chips&flaws. All chrome and trim is excellent. Bumpers are straight and shiny. All glass is crisp windshield is free of chips or wiper scars. All lamp lenses areexcellent.The black "Cobra-Grain" vinyl top is Like NEW! This car is a serious attention getter everywhere. We have allseen enough Mustangs and Camaros but when you roll in with this baby everyone stands up and takes notice! People are just fascinated with this car!

The interior is all original and excellent. There are three flaws inside. One small wear spot on the lower outside corner of each seat back about the size of a .50 cent piece. One small tear about three inches in the head-liner passenger upper rear corner. (see photo) Otherwise all is excellent. Dash is perfect no cracks or fading. All gauges are crisp and clear and function perfectly. Instrument cluster is impressive at night with Ford's trademark green glow illumination.All chrome and stainless is perfect. Carpets are clean and show minimal wear. Door panels and armrests are excellent. The trunk is clean and solid.

All power accessories work as new with the exception of the clock. A/C works correctly but could use a charge to be ice cold. AM/FM stereo radio sounds good. Headlight doors open and close perfectly. And stay closed no drifting open ! The sequential turn signals and front cornering lamps work as they should.

Mechanically you will be impressed with the overall drive quality of this T-Bird. Instant cold start up. the drive-train is tight and smooth. no unusual noises or leaks. The ride and handling is smooth and comfortable. The brakes are positive and smooth. This car runs and drives as new.

I have observed the following recently replaced items:

Original carburetor professionally rebuilt recent tune-up New hoses belts and radiator battery cables rebuilt alternator both mufflers new stock type. Strong battery. Just changed oil and filter. Four nearly new matching white side-wall radial tires.

The under-carriage is CLEAN ! Solid and RUST-FREE! Trunk and floor-pans are also rust free.

I could go on and on but you will be hard pressed to find a cleanerunmolested "get in and enjoy cruising" classic as this Thunderbird. AND at a price that is affordable by mortal men!At this timeclassic cars are about the only safe investment and are rising in value faster than anything.And an investment that you can enjoy! I am a licensed New York State motor vehicle dealer and purchased this particular classic through my business. The vehicle has a Maryland title and will be sold with same andNew York State dealer transfer that is proper in any state.. The mileage on the car is accurate and the car clearly reflects that. However Maryland DMV title lists all vehicles over ten years old with a five digit odometer as exceeding mechanical limits. New York State DMV lists all vehicles ten years and older as mileage exempt. New York State buyers must add 8% sales tax to the final bid price. There is also a $99.00 title and document processing fee that the winning bidder must add to the final price.
