Ford F-100 1958 Description

Rare 1958 Ford F-100 Short-wide. The Y block and three on the tree originally installed at the Long Beach CA plant has been replaced with a later model 289 and truck 4-spd. A clean install motor looks like it belongs there. I bought this truck a few weeks ago not running. I replaced the fuel pump rebuilt the carb filed the points set the timing and now she fires right up. I put in a brand new Coke bottle to replace the fuel tank which has been removed but we still have it. After replacing the clutch master and slave cylinders it drives and shifts. The brakes are iffy but it came with new shoes and wheel cylinders for one axle. The body is very straight. The worst dent is on the top left rear of bed (see pics). Front bumper is pretty straight but has been removed. Truck is complete with the exception of the rear bumper. Some rust but not too bad front cab floor corners top left fender corner and left running board. It’ll need front rear and one door glass. A good one to restore rat rod or just drive with a little work.
