Ford Galaxie 1964 Description

Up for auction is a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback. The car is powered by its original 352 4V engine and Cruise-o-Matic transmission. It runs and drives good. Everything is mechanically functional. Starts and idles with ease, brakes are in good working order. They are all 4 wheel manual drum. The engine, starter, generator, and carb were all rebuilt prior to my ownership. I do not have any paperwork on the rebuilds and I was told they were done 5-6, 00 miles ago. It does have power steering which is in working condition but will need the power valve rebuilt do to a leak. The exhaust starts with a set of Sanderson shorty headers, then glass pack style mufflers and newer dual exhaust tail pipes. The tires are in fair shape and are on original 14" steel rims. The body is in fairly good shape, especially for a mid-west car. The floors and frame are very solid. The exterior sheetmetal is in good shape except for the drivers lower quarter as pictured. The trunk floor has a small hole behind the passenger rear wheel well. The rest of the body panels are in good restorable condition. The interior of the car will need a complete overall but it is complete. All of the electrical is in working condition including head lights, tail lights, turn signals, heater blower motor, and windshield wipers. The windows are in good shape and they all roll up and down as they should. Please take a close look at my pictures and ask any necessary question.
