Ford F-350 1969 Description
This is a running daily driver 1969 f350. It is a 2wd 360v8 with a 4 speed transmission(granny gear) and a pto driven dump bed. Listed below is the work I've done since purchase- Rebuilt heads with all new gaskets by local machine shop- new clutch and resurfaced flywheel- new holley carburetor-new pertronix electric ignition to replace points on distributor- new battery- new voltage regulator- new belts- new fuel filters - new brake master cylinder- new pto dump cable- fluid flush and refill on hydraulic dump- brand new $1500 tires - new spark plugs and wires - I had Maaco paint the exterior cab a little over a year ago- new exhaust from exhaust manifold back including new muffler and dual pipes exiting behind rear passenger side wheel. new gaskets at exhaust manifold. no exhaust leaks at allThe doors have no rust. the cab corners are solid as well as the wheel wells. The floors are good but could use a bit more welding on the patch panel (installed before I purchased). The seat is in good condition. the radio and bezel have been removed so it will need a new radio wiring and antennae are good and in place. Windows operate well all glass is good with no cracks. The pto dump works great I have hauled and dump 4500 pounds with it. I would drive it cross country in a heartbeat. I routinely drive it 200 miles in a day for work and hauling. I typically ride down the beltway here at 65mph or so comfortably in it. During the heavy snows this winter I put a little weight in the bed and it ran great. it didn't get stuck once and I was cruising past abandoned and stuck vehicles on the heaviest snow day. The heat and the lights all work great. new cigarette lighter port. working horn. The gas gauge works and the speedometer is set perfectly. The dash lights work as well. I have a CG auto parts glove box so it has one of those as well. and I have two sun visors I haven't installed but they come with the truck. It has a heavy duty welded on tow hitch that I've towed over 6000 pounds with. I would tow double that behind it without hesitation.
