Ford Model A 1930 Description
You are bidding on a rather unique Model A pickup. This vehicle began life as a standard 1930 Tudor and was modified into a pickup during the gas rationing era of World War II. It has been owned by the same family in Nebraska since new. It was licensed and on the road until 1976 when it was retired as a ranch vehicle only. then ultimately stored in the proverbial barn until it was purchased by a restorer in Texas. from whom I purchased the truck a couple of years ago and had it shipped to Upstate NY. It is clear that I am simply not going to have the time to get started on it. It does run and drive. brakes need work but they will stop the truck. Drivers window is broken. Very little rust on the vehicle (that is why I purchased it). This would make a fantastic extended cab pickup. drive as-is. or toss in a flathead V8 as an aV8 project. It comes with the pickup wood kit. a set of 1930 NY commercial license plates. a cab back if you want to continue with the extended cab build. and a set of rear fenders. This rig is all 1930 steel. I will hold the truck for your shipper and help load but I do insist on the payment clearing my bank before I release the truck. If you come to pick it up bring cash. The truck has a clear Texas title and I will send it to you via Priority Mail after I receive payment. Thanks for looking!
