Ford Tudor 1950 Description
For Sale
1950 Ford Tudor, this car was fully restored in the 80’s and very well maintained after the restoration. It has been serviced and driven on a regular basis and always stored inside. I have a complete history of the car dating back to 1985.
Fully restored body, painted black with single stage Deltron 93 black
Rebuilt 226ci Flathead 6 cylinder, with new carb, fuel pump, and exhaust. I will also include any NOS parts that I have for the flathead.
Manual 3spd, shifts great and the linkage is nice and tight.
When the car was restored all the rubber gaskets and seals were replaced and they are still in like new condition, no leaks, no rattles.
It has a complete Lebaron Bonney interior that is in great condition, there is one tear down low on the driver’s side. The windows roll up and down easily and do not rattle when driving. All the gauges are in working order and the original AM radio still works flawlessly. All lights including the interior work as they should.
The bumpers and grille have been rechromed they are not reproductions, there are a few small dings in the stainless but not significant enough to need replaced.
Since I have owned the car, this is a list of what has been replaced:
Complete rebuild on the brake system:
Wheels Cylinders, hoses, brake lines, and dual master cylinder conversion kit.
Complete rebuild on the frontend:
Upper and lower A arms removed and repainted, new 2 ½ inch dropped uprights, new seals, new 3 inch dropped springs, new shocks, tie rods and drag links cleaned and replaced, upper A arm adjustment kit installed.

New 3 inch lowering block kit and new shocks.
New Wheel Vintiques 15x6 OE steel wheels painted black with New OE Hubcaps, New 205-70-15 Yokohama front tires and 215-70-15 Yokohama rear tires.
Engine:
New carburetor from Macs antique Ford parts, new points and condenser, new 6 volt battery, new manifold gaskets, studs and nuts, new fuel pump and hose.
Also included:
5 Bias ply whitewall tires mounted on the original wheels, a box of NOS points, plugs, carb, wheel cylinders, original spindles, springs, u-bolts, bumper guards (rechromed), bull nose, Lees bubble taillight lenses, extra 6 volt light bulbs, original owner’s manual, trim rings, louvered fender skirts, Fulton sunvisor painted to match, etc.
I have driven this car regularly all summer, and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere, I have driven as far as 600 miles round trip in a weekend and it run and drove great, it gets about 19 mpg and uses no oil, it run on the interstate comfortably at 65 mph, I wouldn’t be afraid to take it anywhere.
