47 Ford Truck. Modified Body. Custom Candy Red paint. All Metal. No Fiberglass! Custom/shortened frame & wooden bed. Original fenders and hood welded together. no cracks on the weld. Folding Front end/45 degree tilt makes it look great! Chopped top 6". suicide doors. lowered frame. Award winning. head turning truck. Fun to ride. Original Gear Box. 350 Chevy Engine (& Tranny) was rebuilt when I purchased the truck. nbsp;I've got only several hundred miles on it. Driven once a month. to car shows. store and parades. Engine doesn't smoke. doesn't miss. has been in different parades that have lasted 1 and 2 hours. Has an electric fan. Original ford differential. original drums. no power steering. no a. c. . black interior. cloth seats. dash and steering wheel match the exterior paint. both windows winders work. The bed runs full length (black carpet was left on the bed after moving furniture). Gas cap is located at the end of the bed. Gas tank was been moved from under the seat to under the bed. Paint is Candy Red. painted about 9 years ago. paint looks Cherry! Slight sun sports and minor scratches. "Wood Moldings" on the exterior are actually metal. painted to look like wood. definite eye catcher. When painted there was minimum rust. any rust was cut and replaced. Once belonged to an Apple Farmer. so we nicknamed it as "1 Bad Apple". and painted it Candy Red. Starting another project. no more room in garage.
