Ford Other 1976 Description

76 Pinto with Cologne V6, rebuilt in 2003 with higher performance. Carb rebuilt in 2008. It's automatic with power steering . block heater (Canada model?). Lines indicate Power steering cooler. Has tack and temp gauge added from rebuild. I believe it has 26K on rebuild from notes that were left in the car manual. It has some get up and go, and rumbles at the exhaust. Only thing, the guy that I purchased it from got it from his in law who built it? He drove it, but did not keep the engine looking maintained. the engine looks dirty with lots of spiders, and it is having a few issues. Other wise, the car is nice. It has a Kenwood stereo with speaker box in rear cargo area. Interior is in great shape with some stains on the carpet and seats. The dash has some cracks on it, and the headliner is fully intact. Windows roll up and down smoothly, and the driver side window was just replaced. Windows just tinted. The body is in good shape with original trim molding, and was undercoated for corrosion protection. Vinyl top is deteriorated. Horn button is not working. All lights work. Newer battery. Front tires are 205/60/13s, and have dry rot on the side walls. rear tires 195/70/14s that give the car a slight stance. Windshield wipers and spray work. It also has an electric fuel pump which stays on constantly once the key is turned to auxiliary, and when the engine is on. The pump sets over the Power Steering pump, and it has tin foil around it to deflect the heat from what the previous owner had told me.
I have a set of four Cooper Cobra Rally tires / rims off of a 70s Mustang II / Pinto that I may add to the sale, but will up the asking price. Vehicle for sale locally, and I reserve the right to cancel this listed sale early.
