THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS VEHICLE IT WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!!! Up for sale is this piece of classic American machinery, 1968 Ford Thunderbird with a 429 Thunder jet big block 385 7.0L V8 engine. Clock say 15,952 miles but I know these things roll over so not sure if that original low mileage or if it rolled over. The ford 429 thunder jet has a bore of 4.360 and a stroke of 3.59. These motors came tuned down from factory due to insurance reasons and with that tune down they were rated at 360hp. These are large vehicles designed with a body on frame platform but were still some of the fastest cars of their day with their wedge style heads that gave them a significant power increase over other conventional style heads of other lima produced ford engines. Awesome driveline if you're looking for a transplant or an awesome classic car if you're looking to restore. this car does run and drive on it's own power but will need some attention if you're looking to put her back on the road.
