1954 Ford Ranch Wagon "HOBIE SPECIAL"
This is a fun car. Not really restored, just cleaned up and has a good running engine and fun look. List of the details below:

• Good running L6 Ford 223 engine from a little later Ford
• Overdrive transmission, drives well but have not tested it.
• 3 speed on the column transmission drives well
• New radiator aluminum 3 row cooling
• New radiator cap
• All new radiator hoses
• Coolant filled in the system after flushing and pressure testing
• New voltage regulator
• New 6volt battery
• New brake shoes on front
• New adjusters on all 4 wheels
• New (not rebuilt) wheel cylinders on all four wheels
• New steel brake lines
• New brake hoses
• New (not rebuilt) master brake cylinder
• Good used wide whitewall tires- NEW tubes, wheels are weight balanced
• Restored hubcaps
• Wheels painted (3 beauty rims, one missing)
• Repacked front wheel bearings and installed new wheel seals
• New muffler and pipe clamps and hangers
• Floor repaired with steel reproduction panels
• Undercoated most of the under floor pan
• New carpeting throughout
• New deck under floor and spare wheel compartment lid
• Some painting done in the rear area interior
• New gas tank sender
• New gas cap
• New ignition switch and wiring
• Taillights work
• Headlamps need wires repaired
• Needs chrome (but for the paint's patina... it matches nicely)
• ORIGINAL paint BUT THE PATINA LOOK IS REALLY "IN" RIGHT NOW
  
• NEW Left & Right door strikers installed
  
• Bamboo look steel surfboard roof rack
• Short surfboard
• Hobie Surfboards rear window sticker
• Glass has some holes
• Needs a headliner and door panels
• Has no radio
• New door latch strikers L & R
• Heater needs repaired
• Hood hinges re-bushed and hinges repaired to work well.
• Upholstery needs redone but not a primary worry as the seats are useable As-Is.
