It runs and drives extremely well, and would be a great candidate for a show car if someone wanted to invest a little more time and money into it. The engine is a Ford Lima 2.3 L 4 cylinder which gets great gas mileage compared to other cars of its time, 25 in the city and 31 on the Highway. Automatic transmission shifts smooth in all gears. Factory installed power steering works great. It has the Ghia package which is a cosmetic upgrade of Paint, Top, and Interior, thanks to the famous Italian Design Firm Carrozzeria Ghia.
This gem is a restored barn find that was brought back to life after sitting for many years. It was donated to a charity auction, where I bought it and invested over a hundred hours of work and thousands of dollars into parts.
While the body is very straight and it appears to have never have been in any accidents, it carries a salvage title because we bought it at from a salvage auction where they didn't have the original title so we had to apply for a branded title in order to revive the vehicle. It was a clean title prior to the auction, and now it carries California plates with tags current through March 2018.
