This is a 1965 ford f250 custom cab camper special.
This is an original California truck since new.
The 352 c.i. engine starts right up and runs extremely well. The idle is smooth and the truck is very quiet.
The Automatic Transmission shifts properly into all gears
The brakes, (no power) steering and suspension are in good working order. The truck is a pleasure to drive.
Cosmetically this F250 looks great and has lots of patina. The structural integrity is superb and the frame is rock solid. The paint was restored a number of years ago however there is some rust (nothing major) on the roof line, doors and a few other areas shown below.
The overall appearance is above average and the truck gets high marks for having an honest and authentic look.
-Cab corners/frame/floors are A+
-Tires all have good tread remaining....not sure of the age of the tires.
-Nice stock steel rims with original painted dog dish hubcaps.
The interior is in really nice shape with normal wear. Gorgeous correct bench seat with logo. The headliner is falling in a few spots and is still perfectly usable as-is. Dash has some cracks.
-original radio is still in place with no unusual dash modifications (rare). Radio is in-op.
Due to the 5 digit odometer and the age of the vehicle odometer reading is what it is 2517 miles. Actual mileage is unknown.
This is a true American classic pickup and could serve the new owner well for years to come as it sits, or it is the perfect candidate to restore to perfection. Either way this truck is a winner. We enjoyed our time with this special F250 and hope the next owner operator with appreciate it as much as we do......
