Dodge Challenger 1972 Description
THESE ARE UNWRAPPED VEHICLE PHOTOS, CURRENTLY HAS A MATTE GREY WRAP, BUT WILL BE REMOVED IF THAT IS WANTED.A very clean muscle car, this 1972 Dodge Challenger is a dream mix of classic style and modern engineering. It is B5 Blue with a custom black interior and has recently undergone a complete body-off rebuild. It has been featured several times on StreetLegalTV, including installation of the Flowmaster exhaust and NOS nitrous-oxide system. The 408 crate motor puts out 500 hp and nearly 400 RWHP through a rebuilt TorqueFlite. The motor breathes through an Edelbrock intake and a Demon carburetor. Mopar Performance valve covers top off the 408, and stainless steel braiding keeps the look clean and bright. The Flowmaster stainless exhaust system, with Super 44 mufflers, really announces this car's presence. A NOS Powershot 125 nitrous oxide injection system adds 85 RWHP and completes the package. Classic meets modern in the way this Challenger handles. A GMAX suspension and Hellwig sway bars keep the car planted during cornering. Wilwood disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power with 6 piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear. Power gets to the ground through modern 20″ SRT wheels and Goodyear 245 45/ZR20 tires.
The "new classic" theme continues throughout the interior. New black leather seats have blue suede inserts. A black suede headliner and black carpet add to the look, while AutoMeter Phantom gauges make it clear this car means business. Modern creature comforts include Vintage Air and a 1000W sound system with auxiliary inputs. Outside, it has been painted B5 Blue and new chrome all around.
