Dodge Dart 1966 Description
Here is my ’66 Dart that I built as my daily driver three years ago. Since then, I have moved and changed jobs, so now I don’t get to drive it nearly as often as I would like. I hate to sell it, but it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
It started life with a 225/904/7¼”, now it’s a 318/4spd/8¾”. Everything mechanical and electrical is either brand new or completely rebuilt. Everything works as it should, with no rattles or surprises. I’ve put a little over 17,000 reliable miles on it since it was finished, including several 500-mile road trips. This is an original CA car, and as the pictures show, all the sheet metal is solid.
Yeah, a four door isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this isn't your Grandma's Dart, (OK, it might have been). This car handles and drives beautifully, has plenty of room for the family, gets 20+ mpg and is no slouch in get-up-and-go. You can get your groceries in style, or swap the parts to dang near any A-Body from '62-'76 of your choice, and be money ahead. Way too much to list- over $13,000 in receipts, here are the highlights. Feel free to ask any questions.
