Dodge Other Pickups 1992 Description
First let me start by saying I am not an automobile expert and have very little knowledge of the mechanics of vehicles, but I will describe this vehicle the best I can. I bought this truck about a month ago for my kid who ended up bringing home an SUV so I am selling it. It is a Dodge Ram D150 regular cab with a 5.2L V8 318 16V engine. It does have an 8ft bed. The truck runs great. Starts right up with no problems or misfires. It drives nice and has cold ac. The engine and engine compartment seem to be very clean and well taken care of. There is some rust on the truck. On the roof there is some surface rust and fading not eating through. Underneath the truck on the drivers side it has rust that is starting to rot, but is not through yet. I got a quote of $300 to replace it so I guess it is not so bad that it can't be fixed. The passengers side is nice with little to no rust. I included a picture of both as well as the roof. The odometer stopped turning over at 125K, but the rest of the indicators work fine. The tires seem to be in good shape. The head liner needs to be replaced and the drivers side window will come off track if you roll it down too far. The brakes feel like they will need to be replaced soon. The tailgate is tied up in one corner by a wire and I haven't attempted to take it down, but it looks in pretty good shape. The engine and its components look to be in great shape and it drives real nice. It looks to have been sitting in a manor that the drivers side was exposed to the elements and the passengers side wasn't. In the pictures you will see the paint is in great shape on the passengers side, but fading on the drivers side. Most or all of the issues with the truck are cosmetic and not currently affecting the way it drives. I have been driving it for about 3 weeks daily to run errands and haven't had an issue at all. Once again I am not a mechanic and have not paid a mechanic to go through it so please ask questions if you have concerns and I will answer them the best I can. Here is a link to a youtube video on the truck. https://youtu.be/33dgSuO_1Nk
