Dodge Charger 1968 Description
I am proud to offer for sale, y 1968 Dodge Charger RT. It is an original RT with a 440 and 4 speed hemi trans, s well as a Dana 60 4.10 rear. When originally purchased the previous owner said the car had been primarily built for show and some exhibition drag racing, ence the low miles( although I cannot confirm the approximate 42,000 miles, ll indicators, ncluding the title, eem to support same). The fender tag supplied with the car supports all the equipment/options with the exception of the 4.10 gear and the 2X4 barrels carbs. The body is laser straight and without flaws or rust anywhere to be found. Gaps are excellent and the floors and trunk pan is solid. Glass rubbers Chrome etc are all excellent. It appears the car was originally undercoated and shows very well. The exhaust is comprised of ceramic coated headers with aluminized pipes and flomaster mufflers, erfect stainless tips. The car has just enough cam to get your attention while still providing enough vacuum for the power disc brakes. The car also has power steering and tinted glass for a very enjoyable driving experience. The car commands attention everywhere it goes with most gas stops ending with someone wanting to see the car and talked about it. As you can see in one picture the car apparently was featured with a vendor at the 2008 Mopar Nationals however that is all I know about that chapter. I highly recommend any serious bidder, re inspect the car,you will not findmany better, nd you will not be disappointed, am basically a Ford/Corvette guy and this was my pursuit of the only Mopar I ever wanted to own, 1968 RT Charger. This is not an inexpensive car, ut is reasonably priced to sell, have a clear Virginia title in hand. Feel free to ask your questions, est luck with your bids.On Jul-14-15 at 08:26:54 PDT, eller added the following information:I have had a few questions and a correction. First this is a real RT XS29L8B------ car, prefer not to share the complete VIN except with the final buyer at closing. I was mistaken on the actual mileage the car title shows 47790, rom 2012, nd the current odometer reading is 49125 barring a little more for any demonstration rides etc. Again I cannot guarantee actual miles but that is what's reflectedon the title.Sorry for the miscommunication. Thank you Jeff
