Here is a very nice little truck that you just don't see very much anymore, 1951 Dodge 5-window pickup! This one still has the 218 L6 6 cylinder flat-head engine and a 4-speed transmission. The engine runs well and the Fluid Drive transmission shifts well. The engine and exhaust are very quiet and the ride is pretty comfortable. Decent brakes. The tires are in good condition and really set off the red exterior. The red paint is in great condition and has a good shine. The body of this little gem is extremely good and very straight. The wood bed is also very solid. The glass is good and the door windows operate easily. Another very cool thing about this truck, s when the door windows are rolled down and the door vent windows are opened fully, here is no post or pillar separating them, iving a totally open view out the door window space. The hood is also the dual sided opening hood that opens and props up from either side. The tailgate is straight and not all dented up. Nice fenders, unning boards, nd front fenders. Very good cab corners! The underside is very solid as well. The doors open and shut nicely. The following things also are working: headlights and high beams, emp gauge, mp gauge, il pressure gauge (the engine has about 50 psi driving), aillight, hoke, eater. These are not currently working: horn, peedo, uel ga, iper, o radio ordered. The truck has a good 6-volt battery and the carb was cleaned out at my local shop and a new fuel filter installed. A manual will be included as well as a new turn signal attachment for the steering column and a new heavy duty flasher, n antenna, used wiper motor with connecting arms, nd a NOS Trico wiper blade.This is a very nice and original 1951 Dodge pickup that can be driven and enjoyed right away.
