Im selling this car for a friend of mine but I know the car quite well. What we have here is a 1962 Dodge Polara 500 that has been restored to very high professional standards. Money was not the object when restored but to make it one of the best and the pictures will show it. Just about anything that could be replaced or rebuilt has been done. It has been restored for approx. 5-6 years and used very seldom since. As my friend has other cars also.
It is equipped with the 413 ci motor with the dual 4 barrel carbs. (2x4) setup, Edelbrock 500 CFM carbs, ngine runs super and is very peppy, tarts right up. It does have a very mild cam which helps for a nice sound. Rebuilt 391 gears in rearend, ransmission is a 727 push button on the dash. Rebuilt power front disc brakes, ower steering, he wheels and tires were recently a new addition also with few miles on them. Front are 15/6 and the rear are 15/7s..All the chrome was done in the restro as was all the stainless was buffed to a mirror finish. Paint is very nice with no defects that I could see.
Interior is perfect, ncluding headliner. Dash is perfect., ooks brand new inside All the fuzzys and door rubbers on doors are perfect. Engine is detailed to the max. The underside of this car is as nice as the top, ll painted out and very clean. The car has been a trophy winning car at all shows where judging is involved including Mopar shows.
I have probably missed something but if more info is needed just email me or call me. The is a beautiful car that is rare in its design and style you dont see these at the shows hardly ever, t certainly draws the crowd, t is very different.
