Dodge Phoenix 1961 Description
Nice '61 Dodge Convt. 383 (6 bolt V'covers), push button, aluminum 727, with original park/E'brake on the back of the trans. 63K miles.
Last year for the Forwardlook styling. According to Virgle Exner, the '62's were "plucked chickens."
Car was "born" with a 318, iron flite.
When I bought the car, these items had been replaced new. Top motor, hyd cylinders. Complete front end/steering rebuild (ball joints, tie rods, etc. New wheel and master cyls, shoes, drums.
Price Includes all of the following parts I have:
A set of new 15" Diamond Back radial WW's, on sandblasted and powder coated rims. $400. worth of special color (same as the car color) mixed powder. (color not available across the counter)
NOS set of 15" '61 Dodge style optional spinner caps.
New replacement carpet.
Several NOS item
Several boxes of extra parts. (whole mess of stuff)
Here is the "kicker, or icing on the cake." A almost complete 361/383 crossram set up. Actually TWO sets of intakes! (the 90 degree power brake booster hose inlet, and coil bracket are not there) Refurbished intake, refurbished carbs, new air cleaners and elements, everything else is there either NOS or refurbished. INCLUDING, the crossram 1961 exhaust manifolds, AND the 361/383 exhaust elbows! (the 361/383 exhaust elbows are NOT being re-popped!) Also the hard to find, inner fender, access panels, to be able to change the spark plugs. The IMPOSSIBLE to find, NOS 1961 Dodge "500" emblem!
In other words, EVERY extra part I have, for only $35,500. (I say "only" because some '61 Phoenix Convts cars only were FS in the mid thirties)
