Dodge Dart 1968 Description
This is a good old car, een setting up a while. A buddy of mine got it running. I have not done much to the vehicle, new radiator cap and knocked to dust off. I removed the bottom of the rear seat looking for gold and found none. The under side of the rear seat is nice, artial build sheet still there. Rear seat belts in good shape, ook never used, pulled them up over the cushion. The rear windows roll up and down perfect, he passenger window works like it was never used, fuzzy in good shape. The striker on the drivers door is loose, eeds welding to be perfect, orks, ut door is not tight. Trunk is tight and dry, y friend put a space saver spare in car but no jack. lights work. blinkers work. gas gauge not working, auges questionable. radio in floor, ot installed. Speedometer works perfect. nice headliner. rust at bottom of one rear quarter panel. some bondo in vehicle from minor scrapes over the years, ooks like grandma dents. some small dents around vehicle. underside looks solid. good quiet exhaust. brakes are good tires are fair. I drove the car to get gas and ran the car hard, t took it without a whimper. With the car in drive and gas on the floor the car shifted out of low at 38mph, hen shifted into drive at 70 mph. the kick down, assing gear works fine and shifts like it should. my buddy who i purchased the car from loves Mopars and automatic transmissions, o i expected everything to shift right. He seems to actually enjoy slant six engines, his is the one area i was disappointed. the car is just to slow. when i first saw the car i thought it was original paint, ut on closer inspection the original paint is only in a few areas. This is a car that could be driven and slowly improved upon. Got to have more power to get the fun juices flowing. I expect promt payment. No hurry on pickup. Alabama does not issue titles for vehicles over 35 years old. A current registration and bill of sale is all you need to get a title in your name in your state, his paperwork will be provided. Phone calls are always welcome. Thanks, arry 205-915-6440
