Dodge Power Wagon 1965 Description
This truck was my daily driver for 4 years. Truck had the original split rims and oil bath air filter when I purchased. These will come with the truck. I updated to new black steel rims and MT tires that have less than 500 miles on them. Truck ran great when parked. I start every couple months to keep the battery charged. Last time I started it would fire up then die. Seems to be a fuel delivery issue. Too many projects at this time. Steering is tight and no death wobbles. Brakes need to be bled. Brake switch is missing. Glass is all there, yellowing around the edges on front and rear glass. Doors shut and windows work. Front right cab mount is rotted thru.Body is straight, no dents. Paint is faded and has a great patina. Cancerous rust under front hood lip, door corners and floor boards. Grill and bumpers are straight and all lights work.
Bed floor rotted so previous owner welded in sheetmetal. No holes in that. Bed has original looking wood mounting blocks that are in good shape.
Interior metal is straight and no extra holes. Seat needs to be restuffed and covered.
Dana Axles and Warn hubs are in good order. 4WD works great. Front driveshaft has a dent from a rock and wobbles if driven over 10mph in 4wd.
I am the second owner of this truck. Truck was repainted factory color and heads rebuilt in the 90s by 1st owner. My plan was to drop in a Cummins, but like i said. too many projects. This truck just needs fuel issue solved, brake light switch and brakes bled to be road ready. Currently no-oped with no back fees.
