FOR SALE: 1949 Dodge Power Wagon build by Legacy Classic Trucks in 2012. This incredible truck is capable of any off-road trail in the country! Just completed a road trip to LA to Jackson Hole without issue.
This 1949 Dodge Power Wagon has been extensively modified. It features 5/4-ton military Corp 14bolt/Dana 60 axles. 4.56 gears, isk brakes, nd locking differentials.
The truck has a full King coil-over suspension with 12” dual rate coil-overs on all for corners. It has crossover steering, ual circuit power brakes, rear double triangulated 4-link and a front 3-link with pan hard bar. Everything is tunable allowing you to make adjustments for rock crawling, esert, nd on-road driving.
The truck was chopped 2” for a more aggressive lines and Legacy built a custom short-bed. Front Peterbilt headlights give it a menacing look. The truck is painted in a near perfect Flame Red with semi-gloss fenders. It features massive 39.5x13.50r17 Super Swamper Irok Radial Tires mounted on 17x8.5 Trailready HD17 bead locked wheels.
Under the hood, his Power Wagon features a fuel-injected 6.2 Liter All-Aluminum V-8 LS3 with a mild-race cam. This is good for 480hp and 460tq. The exhaust is a 3” Dual exhaust and sounds very serious. Overheating is not an issue thanks to a custom Ron Davis Radiator and dual electric Spal Fans. It also has a power steering cooler and Transmission cooler. Power is routed through a competition TH400 automatic and Atlas 3.8:1 T-case. The transfer case has twin-sticks mounted between the seats, ust behind the B&M competition shifter.
The interior is minimalist but very comfortable: Corbeau racing seats, orbeau Racing Harness, nternal roll cage, ound proofed, nd a rubber floor. It has heat and defrost with a Radio Delete. The Autometer gauges serve up all the engine functions and there are no electrical problems, hanks to a professionally installed Painless harness with is sealed, oldered, nd weather packed.
Driving this beast is an experience soon not forgotten. Massive power, asy to control, nd a very forgiving suspension. It is a pleasure to bomb around town and off-pavement it finds it true purpose and gets down to business.
There are no know mechanical issues, o wiring or aesthetic concerns. The truck is wild enough go 100mph down a dirt road, ut then be driven to the local tavern. Whether for work or play this is a vehicle that will draw a crowd wherever it goes. Simple to maintain and easy to own. Buy It Now!!!
