The car is not a perfect concourse restoration. It is a very clean driver quality car that needs just a few minor items.I have included pictures of these items.
Paint was done pre 2007 and has held up beautifully. There is a small nick in the lower drivers door that could be touched up.
Lower drivers side fender behind the door has a couple of small bubbles. Hardly noticeable and could also be taken care of pretty easily.
Drivers side door panel is the worse part of the whole car.The car came with the panel this way. I could have just painted it but I kept thinking I would just replace it.Never got around to it and I didn’t want to paint it just to sell it.The next owner can see the condition and decide what to do.Remote mirror trim ring is included in auction.
As I said above the carbs were rebuilt. However, one of the outboard carbs had a small crack in the bowl that was repaired.Does not leak and you cannot see the repair but I want to be honest.Included with the car is a brand new center carb in the box.The center carb bowl is different then the outboard bowl so you can’t use the bowl as a replacement. You could use it as a future replacement or sell it and buy an outboard carb or bowl.
Ask any question via E-Mail and please be patient for my response as I can get very busy with work.
Now for the serious stuff.
Do not ask me what the reserve is.I have set a very reasonable reserve for this car and if you are serious than bid to win.
This takes us to whether you are serious. Do not bid beyond your means. If you do not have the money, please don’t bid.
I will not end the auction early so please no offers to buy it now for some ridiculous amount of money you probably don’t have.I don’t mean to sound like a jerk but you can tell by my history that I have been thru this before.
I have tried to express this car as honestly as possible and once again ask any questions before you bid. There is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied on this item.If you would like to inspect the car before bidding contact me and I will try to accommodate and co-ordinate it with you. However, you will have to be flexible as to when you would like to come because of my busy work schedule.
Once again, this is a good looking car that runs great and is a lot of fun to drive. If you have ever driven or gone for a ride in a Six Pack car you know what I’m talking about.
$500.00 Dollar deposit required via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end.Balance due within 72 hours unless other arrangements are made.
Wire transfer is the preferred method of payment.Cash is also acceptable. If you are paying with any type of check the car will not leave my garage until funds have cleared my bank.
Shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser.I will help load car for your shipper if needed.
