Up for sale we have a 1955 Chevy 210 2 Door Post. The '55 was all new and was the first year for the V8 engine. They gave it a complete makeover that people fell in love with then and now. The one we have for you is also new, it is a fresh rotisserie resto that has had a few upgraded like brakes and steering. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the '55. When you walk around it you can see the time and money that was spent on the resto. Everything was set off the frame and pulled apart and the work was done to ensure a solid car. The panels were fitted and then it was covered in the two tone Regal Turquoise and White paint scheme. The chrome looks all new as well as the stainless. New seals around the windshield and back glass were installed along with new felt on the side windows. All the glass looks also looks new. The final exterior touch is the set of 18" and 20" Billet Specialty Wheels and new tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the 210. Everything on the inside is done in the black that complements the exterior perfectly. It has the correct seats and has the factory floor mat. The seats are covered in the correct black vinyl with cloth inserts. The door panels and headliner are also done in black. When you look at the dash it is painted in the matching Turquoise that creates the perfect transition between exterior and interior. You will notice they added a tilt column and kept the stock wheel.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by a 327 V8 that is mated to a Turbo Trans and to a stock rear end. The engine is dressed with Aluminum Valve Covers and Chrome Breather. The sound is provided by the manifolds and dual exhaust. The brakes were upgraded to Power Four Wheel Disc with drilled an slotted rotors. Also it has had Power Steering added. This '55 comes with great driver options that we mentioned, but most importantly it has Vintage Heat and AC. When you look at the bottom of this Chevy you can see the work done in the Frame Off Resto. All the floor pans look great with Red Oxide paint. The frame rails are done in black and you can see the all new brake lines and fuel lines.
This Chevy only has 600 miles since it was done. Don't miss out on a bargain buy that could never be built for this price.
