Chevrolet Nova 1963 Description
1963 Chevrolet Nova ConvertibleNO RESERVE!!
FEATURE CAR in NOVA TIMES OCTOBER 2014!!
Magazine with documentary article included with car.
Complete rotisserie restoration done by Wayne Bushey in York PA. The car is spectacular and essentially a brand new 1963 Nova.
White with red interior. Paint job on this car is flawless and beautiful. New door panels, front seat rebuild, carpet, molding, sills, weatherstripping, etc. (interior looks brand new). Black Mercedes cloth top (not vinyl $2500) really makes the car stand out. Top and frame are virtually new. With the top down, it's a red and white convertible (red boot). With the top up it's a black and white convertible! I really like the fact you can change the whole look of the car with the top up or down.
283 V8 motor overhauled (pictures) with Turbo 350 transmission. Drives excellent, strong and smooth shifting. Has new dual exhaust with chrome tips, sounds great! Engine bay is car show ready with all new nuts, bolts, fasteners, clamps, and hard lines. Undercarriage was blasted down and painted gloss black.....you can eat off of the bottom of this car (pictures). New Disc brake conversion with all new hardware and hard lines (pictures). All chrome and bright-work are spectacular and new or polished. Weld in convertible frame connector from NNN (pictured).
The rear end was shortened 3/4 of an inch on each side with new Moser axles, so larger tires would fit in the stock location. 10 bolt rear with 3.36's I believe. Rear sway bar. Cruises great at 75mph. Handles great and tracks straight as an arrow. Currently has rear tires 235/60/14, 8.5 wide on 7" rims, front are 185/65/14, 6.5. Tires are 90% at least. They look awesome and give the car a great stance!

Odometer reads 18350. It was replaced in the restoration, I do not know how many miles on the car prior to restoration. I estimate roughly 2800 miles on the car since restoration.
This car is a beautiful example of what a 1963 Chevrolet Nova looked like when brand new! The car is not an SS (there were no V8 Nova convertibles produced by Chevrolet). I have put chrome SS emblems on the car which are removable - very subtle. This is not a cheap car. There is virtually nothing that needs to be done on this car besides get in and drive.
All restoration information chronicled in Nova Times dated September/October 2014 issue. Message me for more info and pictures
I have many more pictures of the car and magazine/article in photobucket - Please message me for a link to them.
