Chevrolet C-10 1972 Description
1972 Chevrolet Truck. I'll begin with the interior: Brand new interior including, new carpet, new seat cover, brand new Dakota Digital VHX series gauges with GPS driven speedometer, and New Vintage Air In Dash A/C. The exterior is very nice. Not a perfect 10 cause I drive this truck regularly, so if you're looking for a 'Trailer Queen', this one is not it, but it is in very nice condition. The truck is sitting on Almost new (less than 500 miles) American Racing Wheels 20x15 rearsand Mickey Thompson tires all around. The chasis is a nice 'professionally done' Ladder Suspension with rear adjustable coilovers springs. the front has 2" drop spindles with new shocks and drop springs (not heated). Truck has disc brake fronts and drum rears on the narrowed 12 bolt Chevrolet rearend with NEW 373 gears installed. The powerplant of this beast is a 383 stroker with BDS 671 Blower with less than 1600 very easy miles on the rebuild. Engine builder guestimated it to be pushing nearly 750 HP. Engine compartment is loaded with all chrome and braided lines. Also has NEW BECOOL radiator w/ NEW BECOOL dual 3500 cfm fans and shroud hooked to a 195 degree temp sending unit. I drive this truck regularly and it rides and drives excellent. Truck also has a fresh rebuilt 350 transmission with less than 350 miles on it. There has been NO expense spared and NO corners cut on this build. This is a TRUE show stopper and literally stops traffic when I drive it around town. So if you don't want a lot of attention and questions and requests for pictures, then do not buy this truck. I've tried to be as honest on this as possible. The only bad thing on truck is 1 very small dent behind the rear bumper where it rolled back into a wall at the local museum where I had it displayed in some of the pics. Probably would never see it if you didn't know it was there. And the brand new shift linkage that came with the tilt steering column will not shift go all the way down to low gear, it takes park, reverse, neutral, and drive perfect so I you wanted to pull it down into low, you probably need to adjust it. I don't ever race it so I never needed low gears and besides, if I did. I'd probably never pull it down anyway. This truck is a beast so hot rodding it would not be suggested because it will and can jump out from under you in the blink of an eye... A minimum deposit of $1000 is required by the winning bidder within 3 days of auction end and will be flexible on pick up time and period although, I would want it picked up within 30 days at the most. The SNORKLE scoop is NO longer on the truck. I think it looks better without it, but will be included with purchase. More pics are available on request. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
