Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955 Description

Beautiful 55 BelAir with a stock 265 V8 and 2 speed power glide transmission. original interior (steering wheel, seats, carpet and also have the original wheels that go with the car). There is zero rust under the car, the floor boards have never been replaced and are perfect. the frame to body mounts have no rust and neither does the trunk. This truly is a gem, right down to the bumpers that you won't find on every other 55 out there.
the car has been in a climate controlled garage for 26 years. same owner since 1999 as the title reflects, bought in Spokane, drove it very little for 3 years then drained the gas and parked it again in a climate controlled garage for 15 years, turning over the motor once in a while to keep the internal parts from seizing. recently blew the tank out, blew the fuel lines out, replaced the hoses and filter, bought a new fuel pump and battery, changed the oil and it started right up again. It fires up every time without issues, runs and drives great on the parkway and around town, all the lights, horn and gauges work minus the speedometer cable and the clock.the carburetor was rebuilt many years ago and needs some minor adjusting, it idles low when its warmed up. the interior is original as stated earlier, there are some stains in the seats and they just look a little dirty and the headliner looks a little dirty as well. I did have a detail shop look at the interior and they claim they can make it look new again with some steam cleaning and were very certain about it. but overall there isn't any rips in the interior and it will look beautiful again with a detail.
If your looking for a Belair to build on or just cruise around in that has nice original floor pans and body/frame mounts then this is the car for you! It truly is a beautiful time capsule.
