Chevrolet Camaro 1974 Description
Up for auction is a 1974 Z28 Camaro that I consider a true project car but has much potential. The car is a roller and does NOT have a engine nor transmission but was born with a 350 and automatic transmission. Again. both are no longer with the car. factory A/C car. PWR disk brakes. PWR steering ( pump and gear box are intact) under hood harness. all steering components. A/C box. fender wells are all there. The car does have a North Carolina title. The cowl tag is coded Z28 and the engine code in the V. I. N is " T ". It does have rust issues but are limited to the common areas for these cars like lower floor boards. bottoms of fenders and quarters. lower areas on the doors. trunk pan has pitting. tail panel has rust in the lower area ( under the bumper)and the seal lip has a few crusty areas. These are areas that I can obviously see. The corners of the dash at the windshield look good. frame rails and rockers look solid. The paint is old and cracking in places and starting to surface rust. pass front fender has a large dent. The body is missing some misc. pieces and trim inside and out. Drivers door will not open from the outside and looks to be missing a rod from the handle to the latch. Console. shifter. gauges with tach. wiring harness and most of the dash is intact. Front seats recovered but will need at least one track. new door panels come with the car but are not installed. rear seats need recovering. needs headliner and carpet ( both are out) Original Z wheels. tires have broken belts and will definitely need replacing and brakes will need work. The car has been sitting approx 13 years. I've tried to describe the car as accurately as possible and I may have left out a few things but PLEASE email me if you have any questions. She is a project car but deserves restoration. true survivor! I know it needs work and it will be affordable. local pickup only and I will help your shipper get it loaded. payment due within 48 hours of auction end. a Thank you. good luck!!!
