Hard to find 1941 Chevrolet flatbed truck. Not many around that have the non-dually rear-end. She has what is called a "farm-duty" suspension (a factory beefed up 3/4 ton as I understand it). Has the original custom made flat bed (very cool craftsmanship) as she was shipped naked to the dealer and the bed was locally sourced to order. Motor is a 1948 216 motor and has the low-pressure oil system (Casting #s - Block: 3835253. Head: 839401). Motor runs well and sounds smooth and quiet. although I have not put her on the road yet. Bottom end and value train looks good and clean. oil pan and valve cover were removed. engine inspected and then covers reinstalled with new gaskets/oil. Rebuilt carburetor. new battery. coil. rotor cap. distributor cap. spark plugs and wires. She has 98% of all her original parts and original 6 volt electrical mostly all works. including starter. I have new Wheel Smith reproduction artillery wheels and caps with new radial tires. I have a replacement drivers side window and internal crank lift. metal interior cab floor board as well as other parts (including an original 1941 shop manual. not sure if it is the one that came with the truck or not). Also a new custom made radiator (that can handle a V8 replacement motor needs if desired) and a truck cover is included. Has original VIN plate and I have clean California non-op title. I am told. by the previous owner. that the truck was originally found on a farm near Lewiston. Idaho and was in that barn from 1975 until late 2011. and it looks it. very farm fresh. and we believe she was running when parked. I am the third owner. 73702k on odometer. but not sure of actual mileage.
