This UNRESTORED 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition has accumulated the highest honors in the Corvette community. Sold new in Huntersville, NC, it is one of 6,759 special-order-only Collector Editions produced. This car is equipped with six-way power seats, power door locks, electric twin remote mirrors, automatic speed control, heavy-duty cooling, and electronically tuned AM/FM radio with stereo cassette. The result was just shy of being one of the most equipped Corvette one could buy in 1982. More importantly, today it has all the qualifications to claim top status as a collector Corvette. The car’s factory-fresh, ORIGINAL presentation includes the window sticker and the documentation from the original and past owners. With is purchase you will get the original tires mounted on the original rims that are date coded to the car that was featured in Corvette magazine. I have a set of tires and rims(seepictures) that I'll offer to the winning bidder for an additional cost. I also have the original air filters and NOS oil filter (PF-25)that will be included in the sale.

Without any restoration, in 2008 the car earned a Regional NCRS Top Flight Award with a 97.4 score. In 2009 it passed its toughest test and received the NCRS Performance Verification Award. In 2010 it received a National NCRS Top Flight Award, scoring 97.6 and was presented the coveted Dave McClelland Mark of Excellence Award, a feat in its own right.
