Chevrolet Chevelle 1969 Description

1969 Chevelle SS Clone; I bought this car from a friend who got in a tight spot and needed some money. He had the car for about 2 1/2 years. The car came from Ohio, s in Virginia now. The car was basically a shell that he gave $6,000 for. He put a lot of time and money in the car. Here are some of the things I know he has done: new front fenders, ew inner fenders, ew quarter panels, uter wheel houses, ew gas tank, ew shocks, ew air shocks on the back, ll new rubber body mounts, ew bushings and steering linkage, ew aluminum radiator, new dual exhaust with hooker headers and flow masters, ew Edelbrock carburetor, speed munsey transmission, 2 bolt positive traction rear end.
The interior of the car is nice, xcept for the headliner has 2 small holes in the rear. (looks to be made by a mouse). Seats and door panels are all good, ew carpet, ew 4 speed shifter cover, ew door seal plates, ll glass is good except the front windshield is cracked on the passenger side--needs replaced. Back glass is good but still needs to be installed. Have all the chrome for front and back glass. Body is in good shape, t is a 136 model, body still needs to be blocked and sanded. Has some small patch panels installed in the floor pans and trunk pan.
The motor is a 396, lock # 3955272 P. Heads are 353049. Motor was supposed to have been rebuilt 2 1/2 years ago when my friend bought the car. He said it was a 4 bolt main which should be the 350 or 375 horse. The car does run and drive. I drove it home the day I picked it up but the lights will need some work. This car would be a real easy project. He told me he had around $16,000 in the car.
