1968 Chevrolet C20, ¾ t, long box pickup with just under 500 miles on a complete frame up restoration to original condition. Custom Camper with CST trim. The original L66, 396 ci motor with the original TH400 transmission and the original Dana 60 rear end with 3:54 gear ratios, plus rear coil springs coupled with an original front stabilizer bar and power steering and brakes. Not an A/C truck. Original drive train, original interior and largely original sheet metal. Every piece of rubber, plastic, vinyl, wiring, glass, all drive train and suspension components plus every nut bolt and screw, all chrome and trim either replaced or refurbished.

The drive train was rebuilt to factory specs from the u-joints on up including the original motor, the transmission and the rear end (10 bolt, not Posi). The front and rear suspensions and brake systems have been completely rebuilt with all new tie rod ends, shocks, bushings, ball joints, brake components, bearings and steering gear.

The original cab, doors, fenders, hood, cowl vent panel and frame were media blasted to bare, rust free metal prior to the application of anticorrosion materials, repair and refinish materials. New box sides and tailgate are US made items. The bottom of the cab floor and the bed floor have been coated with color matching bed liner material. Primer, surfacer and base/clear materials are PPG products.

The front buddy bucket seats are original to this truck and recovered in the correct teal blue. The interior rear view mirror was relocated to the windshield for ease of use. The headliner, although not original to this truck, was installed to cut down on cab noise. The Retrosound, OEM look alike radio has UBS and Bluetooth capability and was installed in an uncut dash. The interior of the cab and doors was covered with Dynamat sound deadening material before installation of new carpet and trim panels. A complete, new wiring harness was installed. All new seals, weather stripping, door internals and trim was installed.

All exterior trim including bumpers, headlight assemblies, grill, logos, door handles, locks, exterior mirrors, tail lights, body side moldings, glass and tailgate moldings were replaced with largely new, aftermarket parts with some NOS and original parts utilized where available and of good quality. The original spare tire and wheel are mounted underneath the bed.

An Idaho and eastern Washington truck for its entire life. Original Owner’s Manual, original Protecto-Plate, original SPID label in glove box. All receipts available. Over one hundred before, in process and after pictures available.
