Chevrolet Camaro 1979 Description

Here is an original code 44 med. green 1979 chevy camaro Z2, ith a total of 3,894 total units produced that year only the code 40 light green had fewer (3,450) the next 2 lowest production colors jump up to 11,370 & 11,875 units produced.
Car was assembled in the Van Nuys, a. plant & shipped directly to St. Louis, o.where it spent the last 35 years, ar also has documentation up to 2009 showing only 5,402 original miles, car now has 6,675 miles.
Basic 350cid 4 brl carb. 350 turbo 3 spd automatic on floor console, .42 rear end gears, actory air, riginal factory dual exhaust, .S, .B.
The engine starts fine with no smoke upon start up, o knocks, oises or engine oil leaks but does leak some tranny fluid which i'm looking into, /c needs charging other than that it drives, hifts, tops & handles like new (1979 new).All the gauges, ights, urn signals & wipers work with the exception of the dash mounted clock.
Engine compartment is mostly still original except for fuel pump, lt., battery, oses, elt, have the original alternator if you want to rebuild to restore back to original. P225/70R15 Firehawk Indy 500 tires done in 2009 & yes they still have plenty of tread left, underneath the car the frame/chassis is mostly untouched except for an attempt by one of the owners to touch up the engine block with Blue paint ( most likely the 2nd owner who did the re-paint)
Exterior paint was redone in 2000 in original code 44 med. green with the added benefits of clear coat, still holding up very very well.
Interior was updated in 2000 as well with new door panels, oor sills, eat coverings, arpet & am/fm/c, his was all done by the 2nd owner also, anded down story claims all original body panels,( no bondo) from what i can see this looks to be true, think this was more of a sun caused deterioration of the single stage paint.
