Chevrolet Camaro 1979 Description

This is a 1979 Camaro pro street. engine is a 327 . 030 over. 11. 5 to1 compression. forged steel crank. aluminum rods. roller cam. Brodix aluminum heads and matched intake ported by Hutter Performance . msd ignition box. holley carb. engine was professionally balanced and assembled. Muncie 4speed transmission completely rebuilt with a hurst shifter and a zoom clutch and explosion proof bell housing. The front end was totally rebuilt with new ball joints. tie rods. bushings. etc. two new front tires. all the steel flooring was removed and made in aluminum. subframe was tied. rear end is a four link adjustable with coil overs and rear disc brakes on a narrowed 9 inch ford rear end with traction lock and 4. 56 gears. Has a fuel cell in the trunk with an electric pump and pressure regulator. Rear tires are Mickey Thompsons with maybe 50 miles on them. Full roll age. The rear steel wheels were custom made for the car. New exhaust from the headers back The car has an old school flames paint Job that it's starting to show some age. The paint still very fixable. some small areas of rust and cracks can be repaired and touched up. The rear window was made to look like a split window 63 vette. the glass was replaced with two pieces of plexiglass. it's missing one. but they can be made very easily. I was planning to put back an original window so I have an original rear glass that I will include with the car. All the undercarriage and suspension were cleaned up and repainted. The interiors were all carpeted. it has some custom gauges. the door panels will need to be replaced to make it look good. It is a t tops car and they are in good shape. This car has been stored for many years. It has no power steering but it would be easy to install back. The brakes pedal is very hard now and barely stops. so it may need a new master cyl. This happened from being sitting in storage for the last couple of years. I start it and warm it up every Month. This car runs. sounds and drives like a real muscle car! A little tlc and some touch ups and this car will be ready to go. I have some health issues going on that will prevent me from working on it anymore that's why I have decided its time to sell it! And let somebody else enjoy it. Any questions call Ray (585)455-2615
