Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Description

This car is one of 209 delivered from the factory with the legendary Winters Foundry CROSSRAM Air Intake Manifold. These intakes were ordered with the car, ame in the trunk and the dealers assembled them upon delivery. Because of the increased horsepower and insurance concerns, M would not make these an actual option from the factory. This car comes with the features and options found on a 1969 Z/28 302 "Mouse Motor", ut with the sought after features of the CROSSRAM Intake. Two 585 cfm 4 barrel Holley Carburators (part # 3941130 top & #3941126 bottom), 65 hp, 65 lb-ft at 5600 rpm, iberglass ZL Cowl Hood--NO hood springs, isc brakes on ALL 4 wheels, 41 special purpose front & rear suspension, 22 4 speed "Rockcrusher" manual transmission P9T30C (P=Muncie, =1969, =Dec 30th, =M22), 2 bolt posi-traction rear end 4:10 ratio, rossflow exhaust system, orrect spiral shocks, 000 rpm tachometer, enter console with gauges, oodgrain steering wheel, elco AM push button radio, 21 style trim package. Front and rear spoilers, pace saver spare with inflater, 5x7 rally wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. This car is GORGEOUS and will draw a crowd anywhere, he race track or on the street parked at a show. Raise the hood and sit back and watch the crowd draw to the Z/28 with the CROSSRAM Intake Manifold!!!! When driving this car, t is a wild ride. The high rpm 302 in combination with the CROSSRAM, ill pull away from most other big block engines. Because of the lighter weight, hese cars are able to gain an edge with traction off the line and pull away from heavier engines with greater horsepower. Better traction and the ability to wind up the torque at high rpms will create huge gaps between yourself and others. By third and fourth gears, here is a gap most others will not be able to make up for. This is a period date correct Camaro. The cowl tag states: Norwood Coupe TR711, lack interior standard bucket seats, 5A body assembly 1st week of May, 9 PNT Cortez Silver X33 Z/28. The 302 "DZ" engine, 618" Block is stamped V0219DZ, lint, ichigan Feb 19th. This was a total ground up restoration and was recently purchased from Barrett Jackson Auction.
