It retains all its original sheet metal and received a frame-off restoration that has been driven sparingly since and presents wonderfully. No patch panels or bondo in this car! It has a rebuilt NOM 396 (rebuild receipt) mated to a TH400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end. It is highly optioned with cowl hood. F41 suspension. Power Steering. Power Front Disc Brakes and Vintage Air Conditioning. DetailsThe frame-off restoration was completed on a rust free car and has only seen limited summer driving since. The paint is high end show quality…. super nice. bright and shiny and free of chips or scratches. The sheet metal is very straight and the panel gaps are very good. The bottom door edges are all sharp and rust free. All new weather stripping was installed along with a set of T3 headlights. The window glass nice and is free of any major scratches or pits. The chrome and stainless is also in very nice condition. New T/A radials have just been installed on Magnum rims with new trim rings. The 396 engine (NOM) is fresh (engine rebuild receipt included) and runs very strong. The engine bay is highly detailed. This factory air car was upgraded with a newly installed GEN IV Vintage air system. The engine is fitted with long tube headers and an HEI distributer. All new plug wires. battery. hoses and belts were added. The rest of the drive line consists of a TH400 transmission and 12 bolt. 3:73 rear end. The interior is new…. dash. vinyl seating. carpets. headliner. door panels. etc. It has an original SS steering wheel. Delco radio and GM seat belts. All the gauges work. including tachometer as does the lights. interior lights. wipers. turn signals. horn. (even the cigarette lighter) etc. Underneath is very nice and clean including newer suspension components. springs and shocks. gas tank. new brakes & lines. and Flow Master exhaust system. It has the F41 suspension package consisting of front and rear sway bars. The frame is excellent. All the glass is very nice with only minor scratches. The windows all roll up and down effortlessly. The trunk is detailed and factory correct. including the spare tire and the original bumper jack. The rims are the correct Magnums with new trim rings and new BF Goodrich T/A radials. The car starts. drives and handles well. It is mechanically very sound. The rebuilt engine was done right. This vehicle is a pleasure to drive and sounds so good. It has just been serviced and is ready to enjoy. 70 Chevelles are some of the most sought after muscle car and in this color combination and the quality of the restoration. represents an excellent value for the asking price.
