Chevrolet C-10 1967 Description
This is a original paint truck that is all complete and hasn't been butchered up. The speedometer shows 70,260 on the miles and the truck cranks right up and runs and shifts good. I bought it from a older man that let it sit up for about 5 or 6 years and I just put a NEW GAS TANK,NEW METAL FUEL LINES,FUEL PUMP,PLUGS,BATTERY,ALL NEW BRAKE CYLINDERS,MASTER CYLINDER,BRAKE HUBS,SHOES,SPRINGS,NEW ALUMINUM RADIATOR,WATER PUMP,HOSE, ETC. The edelbrock carb was already on there when I got it and the original ac compressor is in the bed of the truck they pulled it off before I bought it. I also just put BRAND NEW 275/60/15'S ON A SET OF BLACK RALLY RIMS which made it look much better and a NEW WINDSHEILD AND RUBBER GASKET. I also just cut the bad spots out of the floor and welded new metal in and cut out old rockers and welded in new inner and outer rockers on both sides of the inside of the cab NEW BLACK OEM CARPET with CHROME TRIM. The shifter is on the floor and the clutch works fine. This truck is pretty straight for a old farm truck and only has the usual spots of rust that any 67thru72 truck gets which are the lower front fenders, doors, cab corners, and on the inside of the cab where the visors go but its just little spots I wouldn't worry too much about it I would just clear over the original paint and drive it without worrying about someone scratching it! The seat is not the original one and its just sitting in there but it sits so much better I think then the tall ones. The original decals are still on it showing it was bought in ROSEBUD TX where there was a small dealership back in the day. Overall this is a pretty neat little truck and has tons of potential, I bought it to build but I have too many others to finish. The new dash pad is only 50 bucks, spray paint the door panels black and have the seat redone and the interior would be new and very cheap to do.I got the basic stuff that you would normally do to a 50 year old truck so now someone can enjoy cruising it around or restoring it one day. This will make a nice truck for someone since its already running with lots of new parts and I HAVE A CLEAR TEXAS TITLE FOR IT!
