Chevrolet Chevelle 1965 Description

This is a true SS, California car—built in Fremont CA. Been in CA all its life. It is laser straight—Crocus Yellow with new black bucket seat interior. The paint is excellent.

And the car has attitude!

I bought a brand new, yellow L79 Chevelle in 1965. I was 19. The car was stolen 6 months later. I’ve had lots of Chevelles over the years; but I’ve kept a lookout for a yellow 65 California car that I could bring back. This is it. No, it is not the one I lost; but it feels the same to me.

This is not the original drive train. I found a complete L79 motor (F0401EC) and dropped it in. I added the Muncie four speed with Hurst linkage. It drives wicked good.
