Chevrolet Corvette 1969 Description
1969 Chevy Corvette Convertible*****Up for auction is a REAL all numbers matching 4-speed convertible. It is just been taken out of long term storage. It has the original 350 cu. in. engine with 4-speed.It is a retired "Weekend Warrior" car that has some SVRA ******racing history, rimarily at Watkins Glen in it's early years. It has also been run in some Cannonball Run events as well as some other various events.
The car still maintains most of it's original paint, or the exception of the hood and front fenders. As you can see by the pics, raised scoop was added to the original hood and a Eckler front spoiler (pictured and included) had been added to the fascia and front fenders.
The frame of the car is clean and in near mint condition with no rust. No fluid leaks.
Upon being brought out of storage, t has been put back to a "turn key" car that can be driven anywhere. A new gas tank was installed, ines cleaned and checked. The suspension was returned to streetable specs, ew ball joints, rake calipers, ew correct tires with Cragar mags, ew battery, ll serviced with new fluids, tc.
The leather interior is very nice. All of the original gages including gas, il, lternator and factory tachometer all work as new !! The convertible top has 2 very small spots (as pictured).
This is a rare opportunity to own a matching #'s 4-speed Corvette that you can really turn heads with and any show or cruise night!!
You can fly in and drive it home. Airport pickup ok.
I am listing this for friend so if you have any questions, ou would be better off to call or text Dave at (585) 729-3936. He can explain the interesting history as well.
