Chevrolet Corvair 1965 Description
1965 CORVAIR MONZA CONVERTIBLE
†SHOW CARâ€
Up for your consideration is this exceptional 1965 Corvair Monza Convertible VIN # 105675W174238. This Monza is equipped with GM’s 110 HP horizontally opposed 6-cylinder motor mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. Let me start by saying that this is the finest example of a Corvair that we’ve ever offered here on eBay.
The project started several years back with a super clean rust free 65,000 mile car that has been restored from top to bottom. Everything looks great and close to new, including the undercarriage. The end product is a senior division judged 95+ point concours car. This is a show car that has been trailered almost everywhere since completion. You just have to see this car to appreciate the level of detail that was taken to make it as close to factory perfect as possible. The car even has 5 coker 6.50 -13 correct whitewall tires.
The car does have a few options to mention includes a luggage rack, bumper guards, tissue dispenser, and NOS 3 bar wire wheel covers.
Looking for a great collector car investment, here you go. The car is not inexpensive but also could not be replicated for anywhere close to the reserve price.
To sum it up, this is an amazing looking, nicely restored low mileage 52-year-old collector Corvair that is right at home at any car show in the country.
Please take a very close look at the many current pictures taken 6/08/17 and feel free to ask all the questions you wish.
This Corvair is being sold by a good friend of mine that has asked for my computer assistance listing it on eBay. For a full detailed description or any questions, please feel free to call Jerry at 864-934-6358 and I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to help.
