1986 Chevrolet Silverado K30 1 ton 4x4All factory options: Air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, dual fuel tanks. Truck is showing about 135,000 miles and it appears to be accurate but no way to tell. Factory big block K30
Drivetrain:BLUEPRINT Engines crate 496 stroker motor. Motor was $6200 when bought new in 2014. Engine has approximately 3000 miles on it as I was told by the previous owner, though he had no paperwork. TH400 was rebuilt at an earlier time and am told it has 5000 miles on it. Truck runs and drives amazing. Has the original NP205 transfer case. Front Dana 60 4.10 open has rebuilt king pins and new front brakes. 14 bolt 4.10 open rear axle has been cleaned and new fluid.
Suspension:Superlift 5.5" suspension lift kit. Rough County N2.0 shocks and N2.0 single steering stabilizer. Off Road Design Steering box brace.
Interior:1993 Silverado seat has been adapted to bolt directly to the original seat mounts. Door panels are in excellent condition and show no wear. Original carpet shows normal wear but zero stains or tears. Dash pad has a coverlay dash cover as shown in the pictures.
Body:Body is 100% original that this truck left the factory. The truck was painted around 2000 so the paint though it shines nice and looks amazing DOES have blemishes. The lower rocker panels below the molding are rock chipped.........see pictures. The driver door by the handle had a repair at some point and needs to be redone.........see picture. The passenger door below the molding has had repair and is showing.......see picture. The front core support was changed to a 89-91 style and a NOS grille and headlight bezels were installed at that time. When the truck was painted in 2000 the original D45 below eye line mirrors were removed and full power mirrors 89-91 Blazer/Suburban style were installed along with the harness and switch. To finish off the 89-91 style the newer molding was added. Please review the pictures and ask questions if you have any. The truck has ZERO rust in the cab corners, floors and rocker panels.
I bought the truck to use at my families lake place to tow my boat and plow snow in the winter. Honestly it is way too nice for that. The truck is NOT a restored show truck. The truck IS a VERY nice truck that has been used sparingly and well cared for. Truck turns heads whenever its driven. I would consider this a high end driver.
