1968 Chevy Camaro SS coupe with 406 small block engine built for longevity and performance. Balanced rotating assembly. Competition camshaft. Competition gold roller rockers. World . Products Sportsman 2 Heads, ported, polished, and flowed. Edelbrock intake. Quadrajet carb. and HEI ignition that was sent to The Carb Shop in California for pro-build and match of engine specs. Headers and Flowmaster exhaust. Rebuilt Turbo 350 BandM shift kit. Continental High stall torque converter. Gear vendors Overdrive. 12-bolt Posi Rear 3:56 to 1. New axel bearings, seals. New springs front and rear. New KYB Gas shocks all around. All parts on front end suspension replaced-polyurathayne where needed. Quicker ratio steering box, new style steering pump. New custom hoses and aluminum fluid reservoir, brackets, pulleys, and pump are polished aluminum. New 60 Amp alternator with polished aluminum pulley and end caps and fan. Polished aluminum alternator bracket. Polished alum. A/C compressor and bracket. Crank pulley polished aluminum. Stewart High-Flow water pump, aluminum pulley. 4-core brass and copper radiator with factory shroud. Large clutch fan. Classic Auto Air conditioning and heat. Blows wonderful cold air on those hot days and great heat on cold days. Interior restored factory original. New carpet with insulator pad underneath. Under pad ll floor areas have been painted and sealed. new headliner, door panels, new door and window seals, Modern sound system with CD player and USB outlet.All GM replacement sheet metal. Sub frame connectors, Cowl induction hood, all new chrome and trim. Blaze Red with Effect paint and clear coat. Custom polished stainless billet aluminum front grille with Tri-Bar Halogen Headlamps on either side of grille.These have built in directional turn blinkers.American Racing Chrome Torque Thrust wheels with B.F. Goodrich white letter radial tires. Power brakes Front discs, new calipers and hoses and ceramic pads. Rear over sized ventilated drums, with all new parts and ceramic shoes. Front and rear spoilers. New SS stripes and SS badges. My husband is an "Old School" paint and body man and mechanic with 40 plus years of experience in all aspects of restoration. We built this car as if we were building for ourselves. Lots of goodies without over improving or tacky modernization. It you were to start to build one today.you'd be hardpressed to do the same resto for 70,000 or more. The Gear Vendors was put on recently and really adds so much more to this beautiful classic musclecar. Better gas mileage and she goes down the highway at higher speeds with the RPMs in a sweet spot. The OD can be set to automatic or manual for superior handling. It has just the right amount of updating for a safe, comfortable ride.
