Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957 Description
Hello.
You are bidding on a 1957 Chevy 4 door wagon rolling chassis and body only. It retains the factory VIN platebut does NOT come with a title, bill of sale only. I did a background check with NICB/National insurance crime bureau and it does not show as stolen or salvage. It has been off the road for well over 20 years so getting a title should not be an issue if buyer decides to put it back on the road. However, this would be a great donor car for sheetmetal and frame replacement for your current project. This body has been sitting in the dry Nevada desert cooking for an eternity.
Frame is straight and is the desired West Coast "boxed" frame with no rust issues.
Body although having some rust in the floor panels is amazingly straight and rust/bondo free. Take a look at the pictures. Roof and gutters areexcellent as are the window channels. Quarter panels and all jambsare perfect as well as dash and cowl. Rocker panels and spare tire area are excellent also.
