Chevrolet Other 1946 Description
Super nice 1946 Chevrolet Stylemaster Coupe up for auction. You can drive this car home. 1,209 miles showing, but I have no idea of the real mileage. It has a good running 350 engine with a turbo 350 automatic transmission that were rebuilt by the previous owner. Less than 10,000 miles on them. Lots of new parts including an Acell HEI distributor, plugs, wires, Edelbrock carburetor, 100 amp alternator, starter, battery, tires, brakes and lines. It has power disc brakes on the front off of a 1988 S10. It has power steering with a tilt steering column also. Tinted glass all around in the car that has been replaced. Rustfree driver quality car. Rearend is out of a Camaro with 3.08 gears . True dual exhaust from the manifolds to the turndowns behind the rear wheels. Chrome is good on this car with the only pitting being on the windshield wiper mounts. All the lights work on the car, heater works, aftermarket gauges work, speedometer works. The original gauges in the dash, oil, temp and volts do not work. The wipers do not work, but a new wiper motor goes with the car. It isn't driven in the rain, so it hasnt' been a big deal. Factory clock works also. The doors lock as they should with the original keys. It has a power antenna, air shocks, 15x7 rally wheels with bands and centers. The paint is good with minor cracking at the drivers side tail light (see pics). Car cover included. This is a good running, driving car that is dependable to drive without spending money on it. The car belongs to my step-dad who is 75 years old and he has had the car for over 15 years. It has been well taken care of. Fly in and drive it home or I can help arrange shipping and furnish the winning bidder with a quote and/or shipper information. Please feel free to ask any questions and come look at the car in person if you wish. These cars are rare, especially in this condition. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking. You can also call 276-629-8947 and ask for Paul with questions also.
