All the hard work is done. This is easily a $25k Street Rod when finished!
Body - 3.5" roof chop, Chrysler Sebring powered side mirrors, lowered rear quarter panels and skirts for "Led Sled" look. Customized hood raised in rear to hide wipers and lowered in front for a "nosed" look. Replaced entire floor, inner/outer rocker panels, front cab mounts and necessary body mounts. Customized firewall body mounting brackets. Body shaved and door poppers installed. Front sheet metal (fenders, fire wall and grill area) smoothed. 1959 Caddy custom rear tail lights along with "Cat Eye" LED lights. 1954 Grille insert with '54 Chevy grill teeth and custom grille bullets. New headlights with integrated turn signals are installed. Front and rear bumper panels are curved under. 2 piece windshield and rear window are installed. New fuel tank and fuel lines. New American Autowire complete 15 circuit wiring is installed and working. Original working vacuum wipers installed. Body is awesome looking. Everyone compliments me on the "bad ass" look. Note that I had painted the car with a single stage black color and it looked fantastic, body lines and straightness were perfect, but there was a bit of orange peel. Since then I have sanded it down and have not repainted. Pictures show the car before it was sanded!
Engine - 1972 Chevy Nova 250, 6 cylinder. New main and rod bearings, rings and gaskets. Rebuilt 1 bbl carburetor, new points, cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs and filters. New custom motor mounts and brackets. New gas pedal mounting, and throttle cable. New "Be Cool" heavy duty radiator and electric fan. Dynomax long tube headers and Cherry Bomb mufflers. Car runs and drives great! A really cool head turner!
Rear - 1972 Chevy Nova 10 bolt. Resealed and replaced gear oil. Lowered 2" with drop blocks. Rear springs re-conditioned and bushings replaced. New U Joints.
Frame - removed from car, surface rust removed and painted with rust proof paint.
Front suspension - removed and cleaned, painted, replaced worn parts, re-greased and re-installed with new hardware.
Steering - original non-power. Gearbox drained and refilled. 1979 Trans Am tilt steering column and wheel assembly installed.
Wheels - original rims on the car plus I have a set of 15" (4.5" back spacing) custom painted 1975 "Turbine" style alloy rims with Chevy center badges that go with the sale.
Brakes - Front and rear drum type. Power brakes. Master cylinder upgraded to later model and relocated to firewall. Installed power brake booster, all new brake lines and fittings, replaced front and rear brake linings, hoses, rear wheel cylinders and drums.
Interior - 2000 Audi TT, fully powered black leather front bucket seats are installed and working. Split rear black leather uppers from an Audi TT. I have full size rear seat frames that are also included with the sale. The dash is customized with 59 El Camino dash cluster with new Sunpro volt/temp/oil/fuel gauges, and it looks awesome! Original speedometer rebuilt and working. Lighted rear view mirror installed.
Non-installed parts - new electric fuel pump and regulator. HEI distributor with separate coil (used). Replacement Powerglide. New chrome valve cover. Have extra 2 bbl carb (needs rebuild) and adapter plate. There are also several boxes of other extra used and new parts that go with the sale.
Required finishing - Paint, interior and weatherstripping, trim for front (2) windshields, needs new side windows cut and installed, inspection, tires, center link (bell crank) bushing. Needs door popper wiring completed. Needs exhaust system completed. Needs park brake cables and reverse lights installed. Trans is slipping shift and will need a rebuild. Have an extra Power glide & torque converter from a "72 Nova that is in great working condition. Side windows are not included, but I do include poly carbonate templates that can be used to have the side glass cut. You would need to confirm final fit before having the glass cut.
