Chevrolet Other Pickups 1954 Description

A 17,291 MILE TRUCK?????? PLEASE READ ON!!!!The odometer is showing 17,219, it was represented as a 17,219 vehicle when purchased.I was in the classic car business for 37 years, now retired, so I know cars. So PLEASE read my description and you decide on the miles. As an advertising vehicle it is totally ready. As a perfect candidate for concours restoration it is excellent NOW look over the photos and follow my comments.RUST 100% solid, lower cab corners, tailgate, fenders, door bottoms, floors no rust.BODY DAMAGE OR REPAIR, Left side of hood has a fairly large dent(hand straightened) The front valence has a minor (fixed) dent on left side. Doors, fenders, running boards, aprons are exceptionally undamaged. Look at the 4 fender photos, the lips of all 4 have no rods, no welds, no signs of repair, almost perfect, NO BONDO.PICK UP BED; Still the original wood and stripsINTERIOR,Headliner original, seats recovered and just OK,rubber floor mat, not original, Pedal pads look original and show no wear patterns, door panels at top have been replaced and are not correct. Inside has been repainted a light green.MECHANICS,ZERO lost motion in the steering, tight and responsive, Two minor oil drips and a drip of anti freeze from a recently rebuilt radiator. Exhaust good, starts easily, no smoke, no noise, responsive throttle. LOOK at the dash photos, at temperature & idle speed the oil pressure was impressive. New battery, new dist cap, new wires..MISC, Five window cab, glass is good some minor safety glass bubbles at edge. Texaco signs on doors are stickers and the rust spots are intended to be there, same on both sides. New tires, all 5.A very solid driver. Lights work, turns added. Grill is goo, bumpers are pretty good.Have the 1954 Nebraska 1/2 ton farm tag for the front.CONCLUSION,From how it drives and the fender condition I believe the miles are correct. The truck is inside in Macon Georgia and I welcome your inspection.
