The trim is in likewise good shape and so are the glass panels. The vehicle lights are crack-free and clear. Car rides on period correct Goodyear F70-15 Polyglas tires surrounding rally wheels with beauty rings. Under that special, ducted cowl hood is a 302 CID Turbofire V-8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor, high-winding, solid-lifter cam and an 11:1 compression ratio. The motor is the correct MO code, but non-matching (#18N428329) and is mated to a close-ratio, four-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. Out back is a Positraction rear axle with 4.10 gearing. GM created the 302 V-8 to satisfy the SCCA’s racing engine displacement limit of 305 CID.
