Chevrolet Corvette 1969 Description

UP FOR AUCTION WITH NO RESERVE
This Corvette is a blue on blue 427 cubic inch 400 horsepowertri power 4 speed factory car.It came with air conditioning and power windows. The frame is in excellent condition and is matching to the body. The miles at almost 64,000 are actual as the car has been sitting for years. The car comes with its original shifter, linkage, zbar, pedals and its original shifter plate indicating 427 cubic inch 400 horsepower. The gaugecluster is intact with car and is in great shape. No rust in or on the gauges and the cluster plastic is in great shape as well. The wheels are original 1970 ET Mags that are not bent (Motion used these same style wheels on the Macco Shark and Baldwin Motion cars.) Brakes are not locked up, so car rolls freely. All of the stainless trim inside and out is in great shape with no dings on them. The body appears to have some Baldwin Motion traits, such as the headlight design, the fender flares, and also being a 4 speed big block car with no power steering and no power breaks. This would be a great car to turn back into an L68 or motion tribute.
Car is in rough condition and has been sitting outside for many years. Birdcage is completely rusted out. No engine. No transmission. Most interior pieces are missing including seats. It had a Greenwood body kit installed in the 70s and looks like it had a light hit on passenger right fender which broke the fiberglass and someone removed the whole Greenwood body kit from the car. Underneath there stillremains the widened fiberglass fender flares that are in great shape. This car will need a complete body-off reconstruction by a skilled Corvette craftsman.
The car's original owner is unknown. I acquiredthe car from a good friend and we had great expectations of completing the car as a Motion tribute and possibly putting it in a museum. As I am getting older, I am unable to handle this restoration. And again, the frame on this car is in great shape and would make someone a good clean project.
