Chevrolet Camaro 1975 Description
NO RESERVE********. ****** 1975 Camaro SPORT COUPE with a 5.7 liter GM 350 (L98) and Saginaw three speed transmission. This Camaro was originally a six cylinder car and three speed. The six cylinder wasdiscarded in 2001 in favor of a rebuilt (same year) 1987 L98 GM 350 from 1987 Pontiac Firebird. This is the 225-250HP hydraulic roller camshaft motor (V0324SNB + 2HL2236220 - V=FLINT Engine Plant 0324 = MARCH 24 SNB = 1987 350 L98. The "2H" in the second set of number identify it as Firebird . There is about 38000 miles on the engine. The three speed in the car was rebuilt in 2004 and has about 25000 miles on it. The car was painted in 2009 Dodge Viper Red by a friend of mine. The front windshield was replaced around the same time. This Camaro had been sitting since 2010 and needed a few things to get it back to road worthiness. It has new battery new tires with about 50 miles on them new front brakes and a flow master exhaust. All of the oils have been changed and entireunder chassis lubricated. To my knowledge allgauges work but the bulbs will need to be replaced for dash lights. It has some pin hole rust spots in the lowerrear quarter panels that have started since it was painted. The rusted passenger side floorboard was fixed and replaced. It will eventually need newupholstery since the sun weathered it from sitting. The dash is cracked and is ugly bad and it will need replaced. The headliner and weather stripping will need replaced. The trans drips a little oil from the rear seal and inspection cover. The transmission shifts good and the clutch is good too.I love this car its fun to drive drives straight down the road but will need basic TLC. This would make a GREAT and VERY EASY restoration projectfor a father/son or someone that wanted to put alittle time and money into it. These cars are becoming harder to find.I will need a $500.00 deposit upon winning bid and the remaining balance 3 days after sale. I will hold the car for up to 30 days after sale for pickup/delivery.If you have any questions please ask. This car is not perfect needs restored or drive as is.
