Chevrolet Impala 1966 Description
Up for sale is a 1966 Chevrolet Impala Coupe with Air conditioning. It has been through a amateur restoration a few years back. Has about 3,000 miles since. The car is very solid as i tried to show in the picture. At the time of the restoration it has a new small block Chevy 350 bored .30 over with high compression pistons. Edlebrock performance air gap polished intake with a summit polished 650 cfm carburetor. HEI street fire distributor. It has a turbo 350 transmission with a shift kit. 3.73 gear in the rear end. Front and rear suspension has all been replaced including new coils, shocks, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar, and polyurethane bushings. Also has four wheel disc brakes. Interior has also been replaced: seats door panels, headliner, carpet. Has 18 inch staggered wheels with good tires. Car starts and runs and drives good. Now for the bad on the car. As i said it wasn't done professionally. The car has a very good start and needs someone to put a little time to finish some details. there is a dent in the passanger door and a few cracks in the paint around the car. The hood needs to be aligned better and could use it on the fenders. The rear window trim and side trim isn't on the car but i have it all. AC blows warm air. Heat does work There is a oil leak coming from the oil filter(filter or housing) and also a small leak in the what looks like the transmission pan gasket(only sometimes usually when parked). Car does run and drive well . I put about 300-400 miles on it. That is about all i can think of. It is not a show car but wouldn't take too much to get it there. The car body and frame was taken down to bare metal. I will post all the photos i have as well as a video of a cold start. Have Current registration in my name for the car to make the transfer easy. Ga doesn't title old cars. Oh and it was a factory 327 car. Not a ss though. If you have any questions you can e-mail me or call or text 678-577-7254. Thanks and BID TO WIN!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! Please contact me if you have 0 feedback. I have a video of me cold starting the car but i couldn't get it to upload but i can send it.
